One of the (if not THE) tank-iest units in the game. Unlock all its abilities and its got a DEF percentage of 420. Unless the Ignore DEF attacks stack with each succeeding strike, Kaiser will still have that 320% DEF boost. There's also that 50% damage reduction that cannot be nullified.

In other words, you'll hardly be landing any significant damage to the MazinKaiser. You'll obviously be needing units that have a really high ATK power and can ignore Guard and DEF. Shin Getter and DGG comes to mind here. Kaiser naturally can't deal with Dodgers, but you're playing a Zero-Sum game if your Dodgers are incapable of actually hurting Kaiser.

I would pair Kaiser to other tankers like Hell King Gordon, Santa Oldrin, and the Taiki Getter Go, plus a healer and play the Defensive Long Game and have Team Kaiser stick around long enough for your Guardian to take out the Attackers.

For some weird reason, Emperor's Dual Swords uses an icon that is meant to boost itself and an adjacent unit(s), but the ability only applies to Kaiser alone.

Kaiser's abilities in Normal mode are quite my fancy. It gets stronger the more times it attacks, and gets tougher the more times it is hit. It remains to be seen if he can be of use in Conquest Mode. Regardless, this is by far the best iteration of the MazinKaiser in the game, and worth getting if you're lucky.

Unfortunately, Kaiser doesn't last much longer than Neo Granzon when facing the Unicorn team in the arena. Still nice to have I guess for Conquest though !

There's a variety of effects the Unicorn Team can do that nullifies Kaiser's tank abilities. Add the fact that Kaiser doesn't have a good AGS even with the 1000 AGS boost and the Unicorn Team can take Koji out before he even starts his First Turn.

Shinji here is basically Neo Granzon Lite. Shinji has immunity to Status Ailments and any nerfs he gets is nullified by his turn, as well as boosting his DEF and Accuracy percentage, having his HP back up to full, and three bonus cores for a Hissatsu spam.

Speaking of Hissatsu, get hit by the Omega version of the Shockwave and you can pretty much kiss your chances of winning goodbye when your team's Hissatsu and Seishins are locked out unless your team is comprised of power-based units with abilities that grant immunity/resistance/removal from such effects like Zengar.

By the time Shinji makes it to Turn 5, he would have a total DEF of 450%, and Accuracy of 270%, making him much harder to kill from that point forward. As Shinji is designed for longer fights, units like Taiki Getter Go and Santa Oldrin will further turn the Eva-01 into a near invincible tank, while also giving him the opportunity to spam Omega versions of the Shockwave Hissatsu.

Like the Neo Granzon, the Eva-01's weakness is its low AGI. This can be slightly mitigated, if Shinji goes for the Zeal Seishin for a 1 turn AGS boost of 1500. Regardless, until Shinji makes his turn, you can apply nerfs, including a reduction to DEF. So a combinaiton of the Unicorn team along with two power units like Shin Getter and DGG can bring Shinji down.

In Normal mode, Shinji's abilities makes him quite useful in Conquest Mode, especially in stages where you face units that use Barrier and Guard.

Simply put, by pairing Omega Rei with Omega Shinjji, the result is Shinji having an initial DEF percentage boost of 450 thanks to Rei's Rear Support ability. Taiki Fighter MazinKaiser and Omega GGG can also benefit greatly from the Rear Support ability, among others.

The combination of Rear Support, Gendou's Glasses, and activating the Omega ver of the Positron Rifle allows Rei to target even the likes of Taiki Chirico, Durandal, and Gundam Harute, who are the top tier of Dodgers in the game. She's got nothing against Bunshin units, however. And being an Eva unit, it has low AGI.

Rei's abilities in Normal Mode make her useful in stages that require Shooters. You can also use Rei as a sacrificial pawn to nerf a certain enemy or boss, provided they're not immune to Status Ailments.

Of the three, Asuka is the only one who doesn't have an AT Field, as her abilities are designed solely for offense. This puts her at the most risk of being taken out, though she does have Toughness and can recover 20% HP per turn. She also has the lowest boost of Accuracy among the three Evas, maxing out at 130% when using her Omega Ver. Hissatsu. This makes her problematic when dealing with high Dodgers, as well as those that use Bunshin. On the other hand, she does have a permanent AGS boost of 1000, making her essentially the fastest of the three Omega Evas without support from other units, V-parts, or Seishins. Her Support Attack and her Crossbow Hissatsu does make her a must have in Battle Mode when dealing against the Kougai Boss.

Asuka just LOVES Critical Hits in Normal Mode and her abilities show just how insane the rates are, so you'll always be landing Critical Hits. Having 2 bonus cores is always a good thing in Normal/Conquest Mode under any circumstances.

Holland's Devilfish is the 2nd unit to have a Simultaneous Attack ability after the Blaster Nu Gundam, though at a lower rate of 60%. Combining his 1st Ability with Intuition and using the Assault Seishin will give Holland the max Accuracy boost of 300%, making it ideal against the top dodgers. Using the same method, Holland himself would have an Evasion boost of 250%.

Naturally, because the Devilfish is no Super Robot, power isn't its main feature. As such, the Assault Hissatsu doesn't look impressive, damage-wise. That said, each use of the Assault Hissatsu will give Holland an AGS boost of 1000 for 1 Turn, plus being able to heal if it scores a critical hit. Units like GodSigma, Daltanious, and Daitarn 3 can benefit from Holland's final ability, as they lack abilities that boost Accuracy and Evasion.

For Holland's 3rd Ability in Normal/Conquest Mode to take effect, your party must comprise of units that have a Sky Terrain rating. Besides the LFOs from Eureka 7, other flying units include GodSigma, Nono, Dancouga Nova, Final Dancouga, all the Getters that Ryoma pilots, Great Mazinger, Mazinger Z with Jet Scrander, Kaiser with Kaiser Scrander, Zegapain, the Aura Battlers, and a select number of Mobile Suits.

Tier list has been updated, they're on order:


1 - The tier list take into consideration that pilots that are captains are on their optimal teams, for example Eureka position on the list is supposing that you do have Anemone


2- It also takes into consideration that every support unit its under their optimal composition

3 - it takes into consideration all the game modes and not only conquest, units that are one mission marvels like Gurren Wing are not high rated just because of that.

4 - have in mind that no unit can beat all the game content alone.
