Super Robot Wars DD - 2019, Android and iPhone

It's just me or Bandai Namco seems to being putting anything that barely resembles a mecha series here, even if Devilman is somewhat related with Mazinger Z on the grounds they did a crossover movie years ago. In that case, I wouldn't be surprised if they include any other series with a minimum relation with the mecha genre, like Strike Witches, Girls und Panzer, Bubblegum Crisis or even One-Punch Man.

They talked about this on the development of Cross Omega , the main deal with the mobile game was too see how many tittles they could work with on SRW, since the actual only Mecha genre is veeeery slow as of late, and mecha classics stooped being produced after Gundam Unicorn i think?

the main SRW attraction was that you could play with those units of very popular anime/manga, regardless of they being mecha or not , however this times passed and now they have to work with everything they have even Cute Honey for example i fell like they need to do this so the series can keep on living

Yes,even Cross Omega had" strange" series. Nowadays SRT can be considered just the most famous crossover game. After all, we always had series that can hardly be classified as mecha anime, as for example even Captain Harlock in SRT T

^But Captain Harlock has a cool battleship!
Seems they now consider any series with a battleship, a ship, a power armor, or hell, even a vehicle is eligible for SRW.

At this rate, I wouldn't be surprised if even Attack on Titan appears in a SRW someday, considering the author took some inspiration from Evangelion. The only thing they would need to explain is how Mikasa and Levi (or anyone with the ODG) can fight against non-organic enemies, like mobile suits, or fighting in the space.

Probably just as good. Usually no mobage is ever actually properly working during their betas and even their launch. I remember X-Omega had a few kinks as well.

And let us not forget the Horrors of Fate/Grand Orders's launch.

I remember the Dragon Ball Legends Beta had unlimited free summons.
I wonder if DD beta will give us that.

The DD Beta should inform us whether this is a normal SRW game or a spin-off.

It has to be a spin off. You can't really have a normal SRW story in the mobage format without having to adjust every other month for new characcter additions. The best thing they could do is an episodic story, with little by little building up a main plot.

I doubt we'd get free spins like Dragonball. Largely because while re rolling is an abusive thing, the reasons mobage devs aren't against it is because every single time someone rerolls they have to re download the game, adding another tick to the games total download count as well as add to the games generated add revenue.

Well, to tell the truth, we already know this has a basic OG story under it, based on something that happens in the south polar site
