... a see through skirt that pretty much covers nothing. :/ Actually that outfits shows slightly more skin even.
But so many people in comment sections complain about "those battles look like a smartphone game" and stuff Sad

This is belated, but I have read that Urushihara has been doing less and less art because he is getting older and starting to lose his sight, though, if he is still doing hentai work and the like, then he might not be as far gone as all that.

He's still active, and recently released things he's done art for. He's just not that much in the major games anymore.

I would never believe stuff like that without a clear source, since it seems like people outright make stuff up about artists when they become less prolific or seemingly disappear. I've lost track of how many times I've heard the ol' "they died in a car accident" story.

No one makes up such rumors in similar cases with like, Masamune Shirow, but I guess we all assume he's living off that GiTS money and can do whatever he wants anyway.

Actually there's an interview with him about Langrisser:
http://www.siliconera.com/2018/11/10/lan...sser-i-ii/
Seems he actually approves of the change of designer as he wants to see what they do with it, he also was more involved in the remake than I thought back then.
... the comments make me feel though as if they didn't even read the interview but I guess that's the internet.

Glad he has such an optimistic view on then. And he's right, at a certain point there needs to be an artistic update to the art style other wise it would just feel too dated and not as appealing to newer players. Like in the case of Dragonball FighterZ. You always hear people saying "This looks just like the anime!" but in reality it looks nothing like the anime, it looks a million times better and modern. (People just THINK it looks exactly like the anime because that's what their mind tells them).

The Kiseki series is another one. The new redesigns for the old Sora no Kiseki cast in Sen III and IV were much needed after all these years. Using their old designs would have just looked way too awkward.

If Urushihara is still active, then I am happy to be proven wrong.

I have not been playing SRW, so I did not have a whole lot to contribute here. But! I am getting back into it.
