The apparent lack of Super Sentai mecha
#1
I know we already got Daizyujin from Zyuranger appearing in SRW X-Omega.  But even then, X-Omega is a free-to-play mobile game, and Daizyujin was just released for a one-time event only.

So why haven't we seen any actual Super Sentai mecha in Super Robot Wars, outside of the fact that Super Sentai is tokusatsu, compared to the majority of mecha in the SRW series so far coming from anime?  The majority of them save for the Battle Fever Robo and Denziman's DaiDenzin are combining mecha, and SRW could need some more combining mecha outside of just Getter Robo, Combattler V, and Voltes V, all the way up to Gurren Lagann.

Because if they have live action series proper, they have to pay likeness rights. Super Toku Wars had issues with that, and X-O got around it by literally only showing the Zyurangers in costume and having Bandora talk from offscreen.

Count me as one of the fans of SRW games and related animes that cares nothing about sentai shows so I'm quite content with their absence. They made some games with them in the past though, so how do their sales numbers compare to similiar games released around the same time?

Outside of Super Toku Wars they all did pretty well. That game failed on account of being absolute fucking garbage.

Even though Boom Studios inherited the rights to the original Power Rangers actors' likenesses so that it could incorporate them in the Power Rangers comics?

How come Boom Studios can get away with using the MMPR actors' likenesses in the comic, while Banpresto can't use the likenesses of the Super Sentai actors?

Because likeness rights are different depending on country, they make a lot more off that than Sentai in SRW would make compared to that amount of money, and because Boom Studios didn’t “get away with” anything?
