Since I don't have a supply unit, I had to use Nadesico to supply everyone.

Was going fine, Got Don Saucer down to 20k HP and then Nadescio ran out of Energy.
Don Saucer attacked Nadescio instead of Domon and I was unable to do the require damage per turn.

Alright! Time to try this again for a 3rd Time...

I'll use my game over tricks gold for Nadesico and that should clear it.

This is the 1st srw game, I've played that I had to use game over.

D2 isn't fully upgraded the rest are.

I got a new strategy, so I try again tomorrow.

Haha, wow, this flew under my radar. I've adored this game ever since it was on GBA.

This is one of my favorite SRWs in the series.

Looks like I'll have to give it a whirl again after 9 years.

This game has pretty bad pacing, i remember when i was playing it reaching a stage where bosses where suddenly pop out and have a huge ton crap of HP Regen and my units didn't had enough damage to destroy them fast enough.

one thing that i remember its that it was important to select the birthday of Axel/Lamia since it affects your seishins also SoulGain has EN/HP regen on the PSP version and that also helps a bit.

but the PSP version is all right the GBA version is hard.

but for this boss you have to abuse support attacks, setup everyone to support attack multiple times, don't let anyone die, don't deploy useless units (there's a lot of them) pay attention to the Size of the units, and if a wapon don't have "Ignore size limit" it will do ridiculous low dmg, also take into consideration that if the boss have a barrier you need weapons that pierce it.

most Gundams do nothing on this boss, i think that a ton of super robots with Domon is the way to gi

Yeah, there are a number of difficulty spikes that pop up, like Don Saucer. I made some posts about a few stages nearly a decade ago and was able to find the team I cleared the game with.

Attack team:

God Gundam - Max weapons, en, armor, ~140 mobility (mega booster)
Master Gundam - MW, en, armor, almost max mobility (mega booster)
Daimos - MW, en, ~1900 armor (hyper jammer)
ZZ Gundam - MW, FUB'd (195 mob after parts)
GP-03 (Kamille) - MW, FUB'd (200 mobility after parts)
Heavyarms Custom - MW, almost max mobility (210 mobility after parts)

Seishin support:

Fuunsaiki (Propellent tank)
HMZ - Aina (all SP drinks on her)
FX-II
Nobel Gundam (for Move Again)
Rising Gundam
G-Fighter - Fa
Texas Mack

Cleared whole map within 8 turns roughly; first play, no stage replays/game overs, no cheats.

the game is translated, that explains why the rating on my guide on gamefaqs dropped through the floor the last month from 100% to 43%.
