SRW A Portable Translation

Scenario 30..
That was a hard stage, taking down 2 90k HP and 60K HP in 5 Turns and they both have HP regen.
Did it on my 3rd attempt.

I feel like this applies to the entire game..
Playing this blind without a guide is really hard.

The game is based on old school SRW games I believe the difficulty was intentional considering it's under 40 Stages, they've even upped it for PSP the original GBA version was somewhat easier it also had some exploits with weapon upgrades.

Every asset needs to be utilized upgrades/items/seishins and yes you probably need to explore the stages get some "GAME OVERS"  just to develop a strategy for it.

Just wondering what do we get on 2nd playthrough ?

Original A had V-Ups... and that's really all you need to know in terms of difficulty, honestly. But really, it's a shame that while they were changing things, they didn't just straight overhaul the entire game. Or, you know, make it an actually good game.

Not much. You get to keep like half of your money and your skill parts, and I think that's it.

For example... Don Saucer.

Don Zauser is easy though.

Up to Don Zauser....
How do you beat this?

90% of you're units do 10 damage so they are unless.
The ones that can do damage run of EN and the game gave you ZERO Supply Units.

And the Boss has HP Regen, so you need to do X amount of damage per turn.

(D-2 was once a supply unit, but for some reason it no longer is)

Then you don’t go ham on SP on Koros (which you should know not to do anyway if you’d watched the show, but clearly no one does that anymore). And then when he comes out you just slowly murder him.

That doesn't work.

Don’t field shit units, for one.

The G-Fighter has Resupply.

Results may vary depending on whether or not you understand how to save your SP (as in, don’t use it unless you’re killing the Don with it) and how you set up your supports (you DO have a Sazabi, Heavyarms, and OG built to spam their innate support attacks, yes? You are using support attacks, yes?)

So push him off the good terrain before he spawns and kill him. It’s not hard. Even on a No Upgrade Run it is 100% possible to kill Don without game over tricks.

For Don Saucer, have you been averaging your unit's upgrades? You need to have several heavy hitters for him. Gundams are useless. Super Robots is the way to go.

You need to use SP to deal with Koros.
No, I don't have Sazabi.
What do you mean built spam their innate support attacks?
Yes, I use Support attacks

You most certainly don't. At most you only need a few Strikes or Attunes.

I did have pre-knowledge of Don Zaucer coming up so I definitely wail on Koros while greatly conserving SP. I savescummed her to oblivion.

For Don himself, I use my fully upgraded heavy hitters, Getter Robo, Combattler (that 100 EN choudenji spin sux tho), Domon, etc. Please don't use reals.
