Don't want to sound pessimistic but this rumor kind of stinks of the nasty Switch fans complaining of wanting everything to be on the Switch. I don't have a Switch myself but I do plan to get one, but its only the Nintendo 1st party games that will draw me in, not the multiplatform ones that likely will play better on other systems, especially with anything related to online that Nintendo is quite behind at, both in the architecture and application.

I've been spoiled by the asian english version of SRW games for the past 3 years and this Switch game will likely not have that, given that Nintendo doesn't have a Asian english version nor does it really care about imports much either despite being region free with the Switch.

I for one would love another 3DS SRW

i think that we will undoubtedly receive a SRW on Switch the series seems to be reviving from the ashes, and i'm pretty happy with that, the Nintendo consoles usually all have one SRW game, however i think that Banpresto will keep the tradition and make a different type of game again.

with a unique cast, or a unique plotline some very different series, this one is looking just like your regular SRW game by the series with the sole surprise being Majestic Prince, i think is fake, but its great that we are getting these fakes again.

Look, I don’t doubt we’ll get a game on the Switch, and it will probably happen within two years. The sales numbers are there. Fuck, maybe they’ll switch tracks back to maining Nintendo for the first time since the Super Famicom even.

But until I get proof of anything, all of this sort of “leak” is fake. Fuck’s sake, I’m pretty sure I made a 16 series “leak” two years back for the 3DS that looked absurdly similar to this on a “this is what I think is likely” list (16 series, of course, because both 3DS games were 16). Cast lists without proof are just hot air, and cast lists with proof are nothing worth getting excited about by themselves.

Don't think its gonna happen in 2 years, maybe less but It will happen. The Switch is the perfect platform for SRW.

Somehow I want to believe in this but the inclusion of Infinity throws me off.

If it ends up being real, would Infinity be the fastest entry in a SRW?

It either already was thanks to X-O or loses to F91 like everything else.

^ F91 was the fastest? Huh, I thought the distinction went to EVOL O_O

Also I thought X-O was the outlier in these talks lol

F91’s debut was two months after its theatrical release. EVOL ain’t got shit.

I think Shin Mazinger and Gargantia debuted in SRW less than 2 years after their shows were finished.

Personally, I don't like to count X-O since its a mobage rather than a actual regular SRW game...
