The Great Battle 1-5 Translated in Celebration of AGTP´s 19th
#1
http://agtp.romhack.net/

On this day it’s been 19 years since AGTP first opened its doors on PCPages, and they have five releases to celebrate!

A couple of months ago Gideon was talking with TheMajinZenki and a few other folks about the English release of Super Robot Wars OG: The Moon Dwellers, and thinking that it might be nice for folks to have a little context for some of the more esoteric pulls from Banpresto’s back catalog. They got it in our heads that it’d be a fun idea to do all five primary entries in Banpresto’s old The Great Battle series, giving people a glimpse into the history of Fighter Roar, Compatible Kaiser, Dark Brain, and the rest, and we figured that since they were relatively small games individually that it wouldn’t be all that tough to do. The job wasn’t without challenges, but it got done!

I am just happy to see that they are alive.

I'll be playing them when I got time this weekend. I'm looking forward to it.

Wow, I haven't checked them in a looong time.
I see that they have "Shodai Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-Kun" finished.
I used to play that game back then without any idea where to go, so I just wander around aimlessly. XD

Cool.

Although someone let me know when there's videos of Great Battle 4's translated ending. I love the game, but the last boss is pretty firmly in "I'm never doing that shit again" territory for me.

I guess Gideon truly was The Last Fighter Twin.

But memes aside, his twitter a month ago brought up that he was continuing on Gaiden.

These games were so fun back in the day, and have held up somewhat well IMO. Nice to see they got some loving from the romhacking community.
