Megaman 11
#11
I am hoping, one day, in the future, there will be some sort of retrospective minimal bias report on Inafune's career, because it seems like people's ideas of "What Inafune Did / Does" ebbs and flows depending on whether people like him at any particular point in time.

First people thought of him as the Megaman guy and everything he ever did was great, then as the outsourcing guy and it was decided he didn't actually contribute anything to good things his name is on, then as the Megaman Legends 3 Finally guy and everything great, right through Mighty Number 9, and after that went badly, now we're back to deciding he's never actually done anything good ever beyond coincidence. I don't doubt the cycle might even start up again (sounds unlikely, but imagine if suddenly he managed to bring back MML3 or something). Is it not unreasonable to think perhaps it's more complicated than that? He's had good ideas, bad ideas, has been in the right place at the right time sometimes and other times did contribute useful things?

I mean, I lean towards the negative camp myself mainly because of the outsourcing phase (and he took away charge shot and sliding, boooo!), but it is comical how it seems like he can only be super hero or super villain and never anything in between.

New trailer

A bunch of new details and outline of the Double Gear system. It seems it basically gives you access to either Bullet Time slowdown, or double charge shots and chargeable weapons.

All platforms seem to be getting a physical release.

There's also a new Amiibo, so far only announced as coming with a Switch Amiibo Edition.

Also, if you haven't pressed play yet: Voice acting.

Don't believe everything they say, most of these guys are businessmen now, it may have been intimate at some point but its mostly busoness for them.

As for myself, i believe its a formula, we've got good products when the right people worked together and choose the right decisions.
I don't believe Kojima can make a good Metal Gear now, nor can Konami.

We learn something new almost everyday about what happened to our favorite games and franchises.
You felt it in your guts at some point that something didn't feel right in this sequel or that prequel but you couldn't put your hand on it.
For example, just found out that there is an almost unknown guy (i can't remember his name but i can find him if you want) that was writing the stories and scenarios for MGS up to MGS3, you felt it but you would never guess, whats with splashing Kojima name on everything and what not, like that Megaman X6 game that fans kept arguing and fighting about for years (Specially when Megaman Zero came out), guess what. its not as deep as everyone thought, Inafune in an interview that he was not aware of that another team in Capcom was making X6 and he made the Zero games building it  on the foundation that X5 was the last game in the X series, What do you make of that..... seriously.

And seriously, the Megaman Legends fans are some of the loudest fans out there (i'm not against a sequel in any way but it have to be said), the games never sold that well in the first place.

Anyway, i didn't play that many Classic  Megaman games but that MM11 looks very promising.
