Knights and Magic

Pretty much set to be my anime of the year. To sum it up, it's literally Sei Iori from Gundam Build Fighters. Except Sei-chan dies. And then gets reincarnated in a fantasy word with actual giant robots.   (full reincarnated from birth not just the cliche reborn in said world i the same body he died in)

A friend at the guild has been following it for a while.

I've read the manga version and some of the web novel that has been translated, its not a bad plot, but its pretty slow paced. And since the source material is still ongoing this is very likely to be only 13 eps and not really have a resolute ending... but that's a lot of shows these days.

The whole reincarnation into a fantasy world with your former memories is a very very common thing in a lot of web novels these days....

I gotta say I love the way the robots move.

The main character gender confuses me

Eru, the protagonist is in fact male. It does come up a few times in the novels since it's really hard to tell. But him being a trap is fully intended. The novel cover alone have him doing full feminine poses.

Well consider the Trap sprung, I thought he was a Girl in those illustrations.

Did you guys just assume his gender!?

Anyway I started reading the manga I like the plot. Young man loves robots so much he gets killed and reborn under the name of Eru in a fantasy mecha world (that reminds me of Panzer World Galient) with real Giant Robots. The manga also shows some criticism over how overworked japanese folk are too.
