Mega Dimension Neptune Series
Yeah, they're pretty much both the protagonist albeit Big Nep didn't get too much spot light, which is where VII-R comes in.

Tsunako said she's officially leaving Idea Factory to go freelance. She didn't have a falling out with them or anything like that, but due to drastic health issue involving her family she can no longer stay in the city. She said she's still going to work with IF just like always and stay as the artist for Date-A-Live and the Neptune series.

Neptunia without Tsunako just wouldn't be the same, so I'm glad to hear she's sticking around.

....

Kinda makes me wonder what Idea Factory did with the Agarest artist. We haven't had a new one of those in ages, and I haven't seen any of his art for any of their newer games, either.

>Neptune without Tsunako

That's already happened, actually! (Yes, these are official. Just not from Tsunako)

In their defense though, Black Sister's design was always purposely made to be a total slut to begin with since her debut so that one doesn't count as too far fetched...

I had no idea there was a Neptunia gacha game, short-lived or otherwise. Interesting.

It was more overall compile heart/IF then just Neptune. Though the Neptune characters did have the sluttiest designs. THe only original design Tsunako herself did was Purple Heart [Chaos], though taht was just at the end before it was canned. It could have lasted long had it been a mobage instead of Vita only.

Though now Idea Factory announced a new mobage featuring the Neptune girls, with Big Nep as one of the main characters.

Famitsu scores are out. Yuusha Neptune scored 30/40. I THINK it might be the 2nd lowest score for a Neptune game after the original which was an absolute piece of trash gameplay wise, at 26/40.

Thanks french canadian western devs taking another Japanese centric series! Now I can group Nep Nep with Lost PLanet, Dead Rising, and many others!

But sersiously the gameplay looked pretty boring. Tsunako's art looked amazing, but the weird sprites and animation looked kinda halfed ass. The Nep series charm is that it's usually a moder/futurisic setting to boot, so limiting it to to a typical phantasy world just takes away from it's charm.

And yet I will most likely still buy it at release. I enjoy Neptunia too much not to do so. (Then again, I also like the original PS3 game despite its multitude of flaws, so I will admit to having questionable taste.)

I'll probably going to import it. Might as well, I have everything else. I think the only game I haven't gotten 100% in both the ENG and JP versions off is MK2 because aside from Black Sister I just hate the little sister characters and Mk2 in general. And in the Re;birth version I didn't want to deal with the stupid Nep Tower thing a 2nd time. it was just such a bad mechanic.

A lot of people loved the first game for the characters, setting, etc. It's just the games system itself was really bad.
